***I got to see a few crews dancing for the Lord! wow!***
This is what I found out about Christian Krumping. Krumping is a relatively new urban dance with Christian roots that is characterized by free, expressive and highly energetic moves. This form of dance originated in South Los Angeles. Krump stands for Kingdom Radically Uplifted Mighty Praise.
Awesome praise!..
Emptying Ourselves Series
As Christians, we enjoy wonderful freedom in Christ…
a. There is freedom from sin - Jn 8:31-34
b. There is freedom from the Law of Moses - Ro 7:6
c. There is freedom from the traditions of men - Ga 4:9
Please read theses verses and be ready for Elektus Night this sunday at 6pm!
Thanks to all who covered us in prayer on our recent winter camp into Ponderosa, Running Springs. The trip was quite an adventure! After hours of driving over twisting steep mountain roads and accident delays we arrived safely to our destination.
This youth camp stands as a beautiful testimony to the faithfulness of God. He is able to overcome any obstacle in order to supply His spiritually hungry children with the riches of His Word. We were so honored to spend two days learning about the treasures of His Word with these students!
The theme for camp this year was “Elevate”. As we gathered each night for chapel, one could hear the beautiful sounds of God’s youth elevating the refrain “Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna in the Highest …” reminding how powerful and mighty He is indeed. The camp was outstanding. The campers were attentive to the message. And God, as always, proved Himself to be faithful and gracious in guarding and providing for us all. We had a great time. Some of the highlights were singing, challenging preaching, awesome fellowship and exciting competitions including snow soccer, foosball, and snow wars.
On a personal note, I’d like to express my personal gratitude to all of our staff volunteers who made such sacrifices, as always, to be a part of making the winter camp a success. I want each one to know what a blessing you are to our youth and to the church. Thank you for what you do each and every year. You give selflessly. Thank you so much.
Thanks again to all at FPC who have supported Elektus. We still have a lot to do, and many more victories to be won. We have a lot more young lives to reach. I am convinced…God WILL make a way!
Thanks to all those who participated!
